Operates ready mix trucks in a safe and professional manner in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at various job sites to deliver products. Deliveries will be made in both commercial and residential areas.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)- Maintains and operates equipment in a clean and safe condition.
- Report to work on time.
- Performs thorough pre and post-trip truck inspections.
- Verify general compliance with mix specifications after loading and at job site.
- Drives Ready Mix Truck safely to location for unloading.
- Operate Ready Mix Truck to place concrete in specified area as directed by customer.
- Washes Ready Mix Truck in specified wash-out areas to avoid concrete build-up in the mixer barrel as well as the exterior of mixer.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.

Education/Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to operate an electronic device such as a tablet.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
- Will be subject to drug testing, medical exams and physical agilities testing.
- Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class
B. - Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
