Position Overview:

We are ramping back up and seeking Licensed Utah Journeyman Electricians to join our team for the construction of BESS(Substation) project in Brigham City, Utah. Candidates with High voltage electrical termination experience in industrial, renewable or oil and gas industries are preferred.

Start: 2/23

Schedule: 12 Day on, 2 days off; 10 Hr days

Responsibilities:

• Install, connect, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components related to substations.
• Perform underground High voltage cable terminations
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure all installations meet safety and performance and quality standards, including voltage checks, grounding, and testing.
• Conduct HV testing, such as Hi-Pot and VLF, and assist with calibrating and installing substation switches for client inspections.
• Install ground grids, bonding structures, raceways, rigid conduit, cable and tubing bus systems with precision.
• Pre-calibrate and install substation components such as static shields, small equipment, lighting, and receptacles.
• Assist with cable trench installations.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to apprentices and helpers.
• Utilize appropriate hand tools (i.e., crescent wrench, pliers, hammer, screwdriver) and power tools (i.e., drills, impact wrenches) to install systems per codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must possess high voltage and journeyman experience in heavy industrial settings, substations, transmissions, solar, or oil and gas.
• 7 years of Electrical Experience Required
• Experience on Substations is required
• Utah State Journeyman Electrician license Required
• Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Background screening
