Electrician Apprentice -Spectra

Position Overview

Strata Networks is seeking a motivated and dependable Electrician Apprentice to support our electrical team in the installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills under the guidance of Journeyman and Master Electricians while contributing to the safe and reliable operation of critical electrical infrastructure.

Assist Journeyman and Master Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.

Perform basic electrical tasks, including measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using appropriate tools and instruments.

Complete semi-skilled and unskilled labor duties related to electrical projects.

Dig trenches or holes for conduit and equipment supports as required.

Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites using hand tools, hand trucks, or motorized vehicles.

Provide on-call support to various clients as part of a 24/7 rotation schedule.

Accurately document work completed and report progress to supervisors.

Comply with all industry-standard health and safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Electrical Trainee Certification required.

Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

High attention to detail with solid problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license required.

Standard schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Regular interaction with clients.

Work performed in hazardous locations as needed.

Strict adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting objects weighing over 100 pounds.

Ability to climb and work at elevations using ladders, pole gaffs, and lift trucks.
