As a PW Part Time Maintenance Operator I, no two days look the same. One day you might be repairing water lines using specialized tools, the next you could be helping maintain sewer systems, repairing streets, or performing concrete, carpentry, and welding tasks.

Duties include:

• Operating hand and power tools for water and sewer line maintenance.

• Repairing and maintaining streets, curbs, gutters, and utility boxes.

• Performing sewer collection system repairs, including using Jet Vac/Flusher equipment.

• Conducting inspections with CCTV equipment to ensure compliance and safety.

• Performing preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

• Assisting with snow removal and emergency response when needed.

This role keeps you moving, problem-solving, and working both independently and as part of a reliable team.

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in varying weather, and handle outdoor conditions.

• A valid Utah driver's license and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation, respond to emergencies, and obtain certifications such as confined space and flagger training.
