Lift Ops Operator

The Nordic Valley Lift Operations team is the front-line and face of resort Mountain Operations. This role is responsible for operating the ski lifts and helping to create a fun and safe environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is energetic, guest-focused, and works well in a fast-paced environment. This position is great for anyone who loves to ski/snowboard, as we have great perks for our employees to also enjoy our resort and sister resorts throughout the country.

Key

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Assist and direct guests loading and unloading chairlifts and conveyors in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, using excellent guest service skills.

* Maintain the loading/unloading ramps and lift maze areas.

* Remove snow from chairs, ramps, and work areas.

* Daily set up and take down of guest loading, preloading, chair clearance and line maze areas.

* Operate machinery and tools in a safe and responsible manner.

* Assist in emergency situations as required, such as misloads, unseated passengers & lift evacuations,

* Work well with team members, demonstrate good communication skills, and promote a positive work environment.

* Answer guests questions related to general resort operations, ski lifts, routes, and ski runs.

* Follow supervisors direction and perform other duties as assigned.
