As an SNF nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to geriatric residents who require 24/7 support.
Responsibilities include:
- Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed
- Preparing and administering treatments and medications
- Notifying physicians and family members when a resident's condition changes
- Delivering skilled nursing services such as tube feedings, suctioning, catheterization, wound care, dressings, and irrigations
- Continuous monitoring of residents with acute or serious conditions
- Serving as a resident advocate and ensuring care aligns with the care plan and resident wishes
- Completing thorough, timely, and accurate charting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
