About The Role

Come join the Morgan Branch team! We are seeking a Branch Manager to be responsible for the overall performance and operations of the Morgan branch (120 N State St, Morgan, UT). The Branch Manager position is a fantastic opportunity to provide solutions, maintain and deepen existing business relationships, and develop new relationships to support growth.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Presents a professional demeanor when acting on behalf of FCBU with customers, businesses, community, and civic organizations, as well as suppliers and other financial institutions.
  • Markets to new and existing businesses and consumers to meet or exceed annual sales and deposit growth goals.
  • Manages daily branch operations, customer service issues, various reports, audits, and regulations.
  • Attends scheduled management meetings, training, and quarterly celebrations.
  • Adheres to compliance regulations, attains a satisfactory or higher branch audit, and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct any unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Communicates key operating issues affecting the branch with management.
  • Leads, develops, motivates, hires, and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
  • Maintains and develops a qualified staff sufficient to meet the needs of customers.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish in‑person contact with customers.
  • Represents FCBU in a professional manner, including a polished image, confidentiality, a positive “can‑do” attitude, punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability. Keeps work area tidy and maintains customer privacy.
  • Completes timely required compliance and security training implemented by GBCI and FCBU.
  • Complies with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Adheres to and supports FCBU Values & Purpose.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems.
  • Provides superior internal and external customer service, demonstrating self‑governance, courtesy, and respect toward all customers.
  • Answers phones promptly, greets customers, learns their names, discusses reasonable solutions, and demonstrates leadership to resolve customer issues.
  • Attends and participates in weekly or bi‑weekly One‑on‑Ones, meetings, and trainings as required. Promotes behaviors to support and track Key Performance Indicators.
  • Performs additional duties as requested or assigned.
About You Qualifications
  • Equivalent of a two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school; or 5+ years in branch banking, other banking, or retail management experience, or other directly related experience.
  • 2‑5 years of banking or similar experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

First Community Bank of Utah will conduct a credit and background screening as part of the pre‑hire process.

Schedule

Full Time:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Knowledge, Skill, Ability
  • Knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Experience in Jack Henry, Synergy Teller, 4

    Sight & Excel.
  • Ability to motivate staff and mentor for personal and career development.
  • Knowledge of industry rules and regulations related to the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Customer Identification Policy, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Regulation CC, Plastic Cards and Funds Availability, etc.
  • Strong organizational and decision‑making skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize heavy workload(s) and demonstrate effective time‑management skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and a working knowledge of word processing, report writing/data mining, ten‑key, and general computer applications.
  • Working knowledge of standard office equipment.
