Tope is seeking a Sr. Atlassian Developer/Administrator to support the AF Strategic Program Information Services team in support of the Sentinel Information Services (IS) team. The selected applicant will join an interdisciplinary team supporting system architecture, design, infrastructure, and OS level support. Chosen candidates will:

· Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams

· Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility

· Maintain Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and users while working in latest Jira environment

· Configure and maintain multiple Jira projects, workflows, schemes, settings, users and reports

· Document standards, guidelines and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system

· Collaborate with Scrum teams to define requirements, design solutions, and test implementations

· Work with Jira filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and Jira administration

· Improve Jira security; set access permissions for Jira projects and Confluence spaces

· Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in Jira

· Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools

· In-depth knowledge and experience with day-to-day Jira administration functionality

· Business process analysis and system requirements development

· Implement system security policies to include user access and permission across a variety of systems

· Support application event triage, monitoring, tracking, correlation, and event characterization and escalation

· Work with vendors as needed for event resolution

· Provide technical recommendations, training and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation

Position

* Security+ Certification*, fully adjudicated
* DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance
* and at least
* 2+ years’
* experience, with a MS degree, 4*+ years’
* experience, with a BS degree, or
* 8**+ years’
* experience, with a HS diploma, with:

· Supporting and customizing Jira to meet the needs of diverse groups of users

· Developing and developing software team solutions on Atlassian tools, especially Jira and Confluence

· Advanced understanding of Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, etc.

· Experience designing content management and data taxonomies

· Experience setting and managing user permissions

· Experience with troubleshooting, proactively identifying issues and driving them to resolution

· Excellent customer service skills

Other skills

· Prior experience training, coaching and working directly with end users

· Use of scripting to automate administrative tasks using Bash, Power Shell, Python, and/or AWS Console
