We are hiring for an HR/Payroll Generalist (HR/Payroll Coordinator). The Coordinator oversees all facility HR and payroll functions and reports to the Administrator.
$25.00 per hour
Starting rate may be higher based on years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.

- Oversees aspects of new employee orientation, ensuring new hires complete paperwork, are entered into the system, and orienting new employees to Avalon and specific facility.
- Oversees all aspects of payroll, including entering new employees into the payroll system, disbursement of employee paychecks, and ensuring all employee information is up to date and correct.
- Acts as a facilitator and third party on behalf of employees at facility.
- Oversees all unemployment insurance claims for facility.
- Oversees all employee benefits at the facility level.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- High School graduate or equivalent;
Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. - 3 years of HR experience, including hiring, onboarding, HRIS data entry and management, investigations, performance management, and terminations.
- 3 years of Payroll experience reviewing and preparing time data and resolving exceptions for successful payroll processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years HR/Payroll experience.
- Previous experience in long-term health care.
