We are hiring for an HR/Payroll Generalist (HR/Payroll Coordinator). The Coordinator oversees all facility HR and payroll functions and reports to the Administrator.

$25.00 per hour

Starting rate may be higher based on years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.

Summary Of Responsibilities
  • Oversees aspects of new employee orientation, ensuring new hires complete paperwork, are entered into the system, and orienting new employees to Avalon and specific facility.
  • Oversees all aspects of payroll, including entering new employees into the payroll system, disbursement of employee paychecks, and ensuring all employee information is up to date and correct.
  • Acts as a facilitator and third party on behalf of employees at facility.
  • Oversees all unemployment insurance claims for facility.
  • Oversees all employee benefits at the facility level.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent;
    Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
  • 3 years of HR experience, including hiring, onboarding, HRIS data entry and management, investigations, performance management, and terminations.
  • 3 years of Payroll experience reviewing and preparing time data and resolving exceptions for successful payroll processing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years HR/Payroll experience.
  • Previous experience in long-term health care.
