Job Summary

To ensure guest satisfaction and safety by providing efficient and courteous servicing of guest requests, maintaining Resort’s cleanliness standards of: general area buildings, condos, and housekeeping areas. Have efficient use of tools and supplies. The Resort prides itself in the level of personalized service we provide; staff is to maintain a high level of integrity and service to always attend to our guests’ needs in a professional manner.

Job Expectations
  • Display a pleasant, professional, and guest oriented attitude at all times.
  • Understand the importance of guest communication and satisfaction.
  • Properly maintain equipment used and operate in a safe manner.
  • Understand the safe use of all cleaning supplies.
  • Comply with resort and department codes, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Consider and understand guests/guestrooms security, privacy & comforts.
  • Be willing to participate in team efforts and communicate with fellow employees.
  • Develops and maintains excellent inter‑departmental communications concerning unit quality, including housekeeping and maintenance.
Essential Functions
  • Reports for duty on time and in uniform
  • Operates washers and dryers, loading and unloading, cleaning filters as necessary
  • Sorts linens that are heavily soiled, unable to be cleaned and unsuitable for use to be utilized as cleaning rags, and records totals of all soiled linens
  • Folds all linens and stores by category in neat stacks
  • Creates condo prep bags in accordance with checklist
  • Reports any malfunctions to supervisor
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage area at all times
  • Records monthly linen inventory

    Advises supervisor of linen shortages, detergent, and categories that need purchasing
  • Organizes the allocation of linens to each room attendant
  • Keeps laundry room clean and organized
  • Assists with housekeeping duties when needed as follows:
  • Cleans guest rooms, lobby, and corridors
  • Cleans service and vending areas
  • Collects trash throughout the property
  • Cleans restrooms generally and replenishes supplies
  • Assists team members as needed and helps cover shifts and clean rooms when needed
  • Performs outdoor maintenance work as directed
  • Participates in special cleaning projects as directed
  • All other duties as assigned by management
  • Assist with any special projects as assigned by Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor
Skills Required
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi‑task
