- Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
- Utah Pharmacy License or able to obtain.
- 3-5 years of recent hospital experience.
- Full time position. Pharmacy is M-F 6am-6pm, Sat-Sun 6am-4pm, Holidays 6am-12noon. There is 2 RX that work 7on 7off plus PRN RX, 3 Techs on each day as well.
- The range is between $146K-$190K depending on experience.
- The facility offers a full benefit package including sign-on/relo(20K).
- Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Manages the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
- Position reports to the CEO at the facility.
- Facility has been named a Top 100 Rural Hospital in America for 9 consecutive years.
- Facility is a 39 bed Joint Commission Accredited facility with a three-story Women’s Center and Infusion Center. Facility is a designated Level IV Trauma Center, has been designated as a Stroke Receiving Facility by the Utah State Department of Health, is Chest Pain Accredited, and offers a wide range of specialty services.
