About the Facility

Serving a large area of eastern Utah, the facility offers small‑town living in a population of ~30K between Salt Lake City and Denver. The area provides outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, biking, hiking, golfing, water sports, cross‑country skiing, snowmobiling, and white‑water rafting. Educational opportunities include a technical college and a regional university campus.

What They’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
  • Utah Pharmacy License or ability to obtain.
  • 3‑5 years of recent hospital experience.
Hours And Compensation Potential
  • Full‑time position. Pharmacy hours:
    Monday‑Friday 6 am‑6 pm, Saturday‑Sunday 6 am‑4 pm, holidays 6 am‑12 noon. Staffing includes 2 rotational Rx pharmacists (7 on/7 off) plus PRN Rx, 3 technicians per day.
  • Salary range $146 K to $190 K depending on experience.
  • Full benefits package including sign‑on/relo bonus of $20 K.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Direct departmental activities and resources to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
  • Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Plan and monitor staffing activities: hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinate and direct internal and external audits.
  • Create and foster a professional growth environment.
  • Integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
  • Exhibit comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Manage work of others: planning, assigning, scheduling, reviewing, ensuring quality standards, hiring, terminating, training, developing, performance review, corrective action.
