** Key Responsibilities
*** Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
* Help optimize functional independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
* Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
* Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
* In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
* Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
* Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
* Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
* Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
* Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
** Qualifications
* ** Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice
* Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program
* ASHA accreditation or equivalent
