Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time AutoCAD Drafter & Designer to join our team in North Salt Lake, UT. In this role, you will create detailed 2D architectural drawings of Lightning Protection Systems. While no prior electrical experience is required, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD. Training will be provided on all specialized systems and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD to draft and design Lightning Protection Systems
• Create detailed and accurate 2D architectural drawings
• Work closely with project managers and engineering staff to support ongoing construction and infrastructure projects
• Review and revise drawings as needed based on project specifications
• Ensure all designs meet applicable standards and project requirements

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
• All applicants must pass a basic drafting proficiency test
• Revit experience is a plus, but not required
• 1-2 years of drafting or design experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
