Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in individual and small-group settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities
- Valid Special Education Teaching License or Teacher License with a mild/moderate and/or severe endorsement
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education
- Knowledge of IDEA and special education best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
