Reservations Agent

Overview

Black Desert Resort, located in the stunning landscape of Southern Utah, offer unique ultra-premium and wellness experiences amidst breathtaking natural scenery. The Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for our guests, assisting them with reservations, providing information about our facilities and services, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant booking experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a desire to contribute to a premier hospitality experience.

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time Pay Rate: $15- 17/hr this is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

• Handle incoming calls and emails for room reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
• Provide detailed information about resort amenities, services, room types, and rates.
• Use the reservations system to check availability and book reservations accurately.
• Assist guests with special requests and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure guest requirements are met.
• Process reservation-related paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow up on guest bookings and confirmations.
• Identify and maximize room sales opportunities to enhance revenue.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the reservation process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort events, promotions, and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in customer service or reservations is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn reservation management software.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented with good organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
