Position: Parts & Service Writer

Location: Big Water, UT (Lake Powell)

Reports to: Graydon Meeks

Role Overview:

You are the "bridge" between our customers and our expert service technicians. At Roger’s Performance Marine, we believe quality service is our foundation. This role requires a blend of technical parts knowledge, administrative precision, and top-tier customer service to ensure every boat that enters our shop leaves water-ready.

• Customer Liaison: Greet customers, listen to their service needs, and provide clear explanations of repair processes and timelines.
• Service Writing: Create detailed work orders from information received from customers.
• Parts Management: Identify and order parts for inventory and specific repair jobs, working with brands like Mercury, Volvo Penta, Lund, and more.
• Workflow Coordination: Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to manage the service queue efficiently.
• Documentation: Handle warranty claims, process invoices, and maintain precise service records.

• Previous experience in marine, powersports, or automotive service/parts is preferred.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic mechanical understanding of watercraft and electrical systems.
• Parts search history recommended.
