Qualifications
Graduation from High school and Four (4) years of full-time secretarial or clerical experience; two (2) years of which preferred to have been within the public school system performing below and/or related duties.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, But Not Limited To)- Performs a variety of advanced secretarial and administrative support duties as needed to expedite the delivery of administrative services or carry out the day-to-day operations of the student services department at the district level. Serve as the personal secretary to the Grant Director and provide general support to other departments, principals, and teachers.
- Performs as personal secretary to administrative staff; assists with routine and general office administration; monitors schedules and makes appointments; transcribe and compose correspondence; prepares various special reports; create correspondence such as letters, memos, brochures, policies, notices, calendars, bulletins, advertisements, etc.; assures and expedites distribution of administrative materials to various staff personnel; administrators, patrons, etc.; provides walk-in and calling public with information related to the offices served.
- Performs various budgetary assignments including preparing purchase orders, reconciles invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents; monitors budgets; prepares fiscal reports; assists schools with administering their budgets as needed. Gathers and maintains payroll information and secures approval for payment for department. Cooperates with audits and reviews; prepares and disseminates required reports. Maintains ongoing contact with school sites, state and federal agencies.
- Maintains all files and records pertaining to the offices served using a systematic and organized filing method; maintains electronic databases and/or spreadsheets and other information and data sources.
- Performs related duties as assigned by administrator to meet the various needs of the office and the effective operation of the school district.

Schedule:
Range 15: $25.18 per hour.
Benefits include: retirement/401(k), life insurance. Health and dental insurance may be purchased.
This position is dependent upon grant funding.
Hours8 hours per day. Position is on a 10-month schedule
