Job Title
Junior Legal Counsel
LocationThis role will be based in our Zurich office at 100% capacity.
Main Responsibilities- Negotiate and draft various types of contracts for all departments and business groups including carrier network, enterprise, cloud, digital power, and consumer business groups.
- Provide legal support and research on contract law, anti‑bribery and corruption law, due diligence, privacy (GDPR & FADP), telecommunications law, competition law, trade secrecy, and employment law.
- Offer day‑to‑day counseling and support on all legal and regulatory topics to management and colleagues.
- Implement and support various compliance matters.
- Mediation of internal and external disputes and coordination of inquiries or potential litigation with external experts and attorneys.
- Provide privacy, competition law, anti‑bribery and trade secrecy trainings to all in‑house and outsourced employees.
- Assess risk and proactively adapt and define solution‑oriented approaches and procedures in emerging needs.
- Ensure good corporate governance on the country level and develop and implement the organization’s compliance program in line with guidelines from Headquarters and Regional Headquarters.
- Support internal privacy and external ISO certification acquisition and implement on‑site customer‑related supplier audits.
- Regularly review internal policies with respect to regulatory and legal changes.
- Monitor specific legal developments and changes in the industry.
- Team work capability is a must.
- Recently graduated (2024/2025) Bachelor or Master Degree in Swiss Law.
- Strong self‑management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks, be target‑oriented and work under pressure.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse high‑paced organization.
- Fluency in English and German is a must.
