Apartment Leasing Agent

Overview

The Leasing Agent facilitates the rental of apartment units to ensure maximum occupancy at all times. Coordinates move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings.

• Assist prospective residents with leasing inquiries and property tours
• Process rental applications and lease agreements
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the property management team to meet leasing goals
• Market available units through online listings, social media, and community outreach
• Represents Village Green at various outside networking & social functions
• Problem-solving skills

• Strong sales and customer service skills (Comfortable talking to anyone)
• Strong marketing background (social media, networking events, etc.)
• Experience dealing with challenging or unpleasant situations (billing, medical, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings new ideas
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience answering phones
• Previous leasing or real estate experience is preferred but not required

Our ideal Sales Associate has 1-3 years of sales experience in a multi-family environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office is ideal. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to work weekends is necessary. An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred.
