This position is located in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of the Chief Technology Officer. OCIO provides information technology (IT) planning and design, application development, systems administration, telecommunications, security, information management, and IT customer support for FSIS. The incumbent serves as an IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) within a Branch of OCIO.

• Develop strategic EA policies.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other groups and leadership on strategic EA policies.
• Develop strategic enterprise architecture.
• Generate short and long‑term enterprise solutions.
• Provide strategic direction to multiple enterprise applications.
• Produce impact analysis statements for key enterprise architectural decisions.
• Establish high‑level process design requirements.
• Work to eliminate inefficient and redundant processes.
• Develop solutions to address integration and interoperability issues.
• Serve as a senior expert using and advising on the application of system and architecture modeling tools.
• Communicate EA related information to various internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and contribute to the creation and implementation of EA deliverables and technology strategy.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert guiding IT Transformation initiatives.
• Perform architecture compliance reviews.
• Collaborate to create IT and Architecture standards.
• Design architecture systems that can perform human intelligence functions.
