Early Childhood Classroom Teacher

St. Pius X Catholic School seeks an early childhood classroom teacher for the  school year. St. Pius X Catholic School is seeking candidates that possess a strong educational background, solid organizational skills, superior communication skills, and demonstrated leadership abilities.

PK-K Classroom teacher (100), PK-K Teacher (103), or other endorsement as approved by the board, is a requirement for this position. Reading endorsement (148) is preferred but not required. Practicing Catholic preferred but not required.

St. Pius X is a preschool through Grade 8 Catholic elementary school located in Urbandale, Iowa with an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The Early Childhood Classroom teacher may be responsible for teaching students in the preschool, pre-kindergarten or transitional kindergarten classrooms.

The following are required of all applicants: a letter of application/interest, resume, three current letters of recommendation, and a copy of current teacher license.
