Homemakers is looking to add a part time Finance Cashier to our team. Available shifts include weekdays from 10 am - 7 pm. WE DO NOT NEED HELP ON THE WEEKENDS.

Pay is $17 per hour and part time employees get to take advantage of our furniture discount program.

Job Summary:

The Finance Cashier is an essential part of the front office team and as part of the exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include connecting with the customer, establishing rapport and learning their needs to maintain superior customer experience as well as being a part of the retail area that fosters a team environment including educating on product knowledge, sales transactions and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creates positive customer experiences in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills with customers and fellow Finance Team members
  • Prioritizes various forms of customer interactions and job duties
  • Explains the “why” behind company financing and transaction policies to customers
  • Complies with cash handling regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ensures customer lines flow efficiently and approaches customers to assist them
  • Utilizes communication with different departments and resources to answer a wide variety of customer inquiries
  • Answers phone calls and responds to voicemails in a timely manner
  • Enthusiastically assists different departments with outbound calling initiatives for the betterment of the overall customer experience
  • Answers emails and responds in a timely manner
  • Values teamwork and creating professional relationships among coworkers
  • Provides feedback to management regarding efficiencies
  • Has high standards of accountability and is timely to work
  • Maintains confidentiality with proprietary information
  • Displays professionalism in appearance and daily demeanor
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service & communication skills in person, over the phone & via email
  • Ability to focus in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task as necessary
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • 10 key & typing skills
  • Accuracy to detail
