Quality Engineer Manager

Sarica Manufacturing, a client of Brixey and Meyer, is seeking a Quality Engineer Manager to join their team!

Full-time | Onsite in Urbana, OH

As the Quality Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating quality activities to achieve company objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO/President, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our competitive position through strategic quality management.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and recommend short and long-term objectives aligned with company goals. Create policies and programs to maintain and enhance our competitive position and profitability.
• Quality Coordination: Use modern techniques like FMEA, process flow, total quality management, and inventory management to ensure high reliability in manufacturing processes.
• Issue Resolution: Coordinate and resolve field product, supplier, and internal quality issues. Lead the Root Cause and Corrective Action process.
• New Business and Standards: Participate in new business proposals and establish quality standards for the factory.
• Quality Goals: Develop plans to meet quality goals and reduce waste in production processes.
• Certifications Management: Coordinate company quality certifications such as AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP.
• Audits: Perform internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Leadership: Act as the company's quality management representative and lead management review meetings.
• QMS Management: Oversee the Quality Management System and document control systems.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and manage the quality team.
• Gage Calibration: Maintain the gage calibration system and track quality metrics.
• Customer Relations: Monitor and manage customer supplier portal information for multiple customers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Implement and enforce company policies on personnel, safety, EEO, and housekeeping.

• US Citizenship is a requirement for this job due to regulatory requirements.
• 4+ years of significant management experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in engineering
• Experience with ISO
  9001
• Experience with Aerospace (preferred)
