This position will lead the development and execution of long‑term facility strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

Primary Activities/Duties
  • Lead the development and execution of a long‑term facilities strategy that supports overall company objectives.
  • Oversee facility projects from design through implementation, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Design, install, and manage facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy management to ensure they are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all facility equipment and systems.
  • Ensure all facilities and operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor facility performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Develop and manage facility budgets and coordinate with and manage external contractors and vendors.
  • Work with other departments, such as operations and maintenance, to ensure facility engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated with daily operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Facilities Management.
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), automation, and energy management.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and timeline management.
  • Experience with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Familiarity with industry‑specific regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Minimum of 10 years of diversified, hands‑on new facility start‑ups.
  • Experience in working with sheet metal fabrication/manufacturing and engineering professionals preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certified, Black Belt preferred.
  • Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office products and SAP is preferred.
Work Environment

Must work in both office and plant floor environment.

Physical Requirements

Requires long durations on the manufacturing floor and/or long durations in the office at a computer. Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift. Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, waist level.

Mental Requirements

Work in a fast‑paced environment, adapt to assignment changes easily, ability to multi‑task, learn office procedures and learn and use new software. Must be detailed oriented; communicate effectively via oral and written with all levels of vendors and colleagues.

Safety Requirements

Wear safety‑toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection and additional personal protective equipment where required.

Direction & Decision Making

Complete directives given either verbally or written, make and assist in determining logical decisions.
