• Active IL RN License
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Experience with cardiac and vascular patients, including post-op CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgery
• Ability to provide direct patient care, maintain unit competencies, and ensure a safe environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with team members and proactively assist patients, families, and staff

• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekend shifts: 5–6 per 6-week schedule
• Holiday shifts:
  Department rotation
• May float to like units

• Provide direct care to post-op CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgery patients
• Complete initial assessment and develop individualized plan of care
• Implement nursing interventions and procedures; modify plan as needed
• Maintain hourly rounding and unit-based competencies
• Report safety hazards and ensure safe patient environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Offer constructive feedback to support professional development
• Assist internal and external customers proactively
