Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with Level 1 Trauma and Epic charting experience required.
Responsibilities- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Care for inpatient obstetric patients including labor, delivery, and surgical deliveries
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Level 1 Trauma experience required for this position
- Utilizes Epic EMR for all charting and documentation
- Responsibilities include monitoring fetal well-being, administering obstetric medications, and providing patient education
- Candidates may not live within 50 miles of the facility (no local applicants)
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off permitted per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not work more than one year continuously and must take a six-month break before returning
- Scrub attire must meet hospital dress code requirements
- No travel partners are accepted for this assignment
- Active IL RN license in good standing; temporary licenses accepted
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required
- Must have documented Level 1 Trauma experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
