• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM), with two night shift rotations per contract

  2 call shifts per 6-week schedule (13-hour call shifts, must be onsite within one hour)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1980-$2030

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) or in an emergency department setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care in accordance with the Emergency Department's scope of service
• Implement emergency care procedures and evidence-based nursing practices
• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with providers, patients, and families
• Adapt and modify nursing interventions based on patient condition and ongoing evaluation
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all nursing care and interventions
• Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital safety standards and promptly addressing hazards
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to support a healing environment
• Provide constructive feedback to peers and engage in ongoing professional development
• Meet all departmental competencies and regulatory requirements
