Job Details – LTAC RN Travel Nursing Assignment

• Position:
  Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Healthcare Setting:
  Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC), Advanced Care/EMU Unit
• Location:
  
  Urbana, Illinois (Zip: 61801) – Illinois healthcare jobs
• Shift: Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/22/2025 – End: 12/20/2025)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2130-$2190

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent nursing experience in LTAC, Intermediate Care, PCU, or Stepdown units
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Trauma 1 experience preferred

RN Responsibilities – LTAC Night Shift

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with LTAC and Advanced Care/EMU protocols
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Document nursing care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Monitor EMU patients continuously for seizure activity
• Implement and adjust care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Collaborate with critical care teams and hospitalists for advanced patient care
• Promote patient and employee safety by identifying and reporting hazards
• Engage in professional development and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning and clinical excellence
