Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity in Illinois NewCarle Health is seeking a highly motivatedCertified Nurse Midwife (CNM)to join our OB/GYNteam at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Births at Level III hospital that offers anesthesia 24/7
- Nurse-Midwives participate in approximately 500 - 550 births per year
- Call (24 hours) 1:8with an average of 3 office days per week. Rotating weekends and holidays
- First Assist at Cesareans when requested
- Nurse-Midwives are preceptors for medical, nursing and midwifery students
- Centering Pregnancy provider or willingness to be trained required
- Collaborate closely with the Nurse Family Partnership program
- Clinical outreach clinics in surrounding areas with travel required
- Provide an expanded range of pain management options, including nitrous oxide
Education Requirements:
Master's degree required with concentration in midwifery
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure.
