Overview
Carle Health is seeking an additional Advanced Practice Provider to join our busy Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details- Variable/rotating schedule: 12-hour shifts, 13-14 shifts required per 4-week block. Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights. 3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving) / 4 weekends - shifts per 4-week block
- APP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on-site ED Pharmacists and ED Social Workers. No EM Residency Program
- Evaluate and treat patients with ESI 1-5
- Level 1 Trauma Center with an average of 200-300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year
- 24-hour in-house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery

- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- 1-2 years of APP experience preferred, New Graduates welcome to apply
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure/Physician Assistant licensure
The compensation range for this position is $62.31 - $81.01/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered can depend on factors including experience, qualifications, location, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
