Overview
The primary function of the Spiritual Care Chaplain Call (PRN) position is to help maintain 24‑hour availability of pastoral care to emergent clinical situations. This PRN Chaplain position will normally function in an on‑call capacity when staff chaplains are not immediately available. The PRN Chaplain provides pastoral / spiritual care to patients, families and staff according to ethical standards of practice for chaplains and counselors.
Will participate in on‑call rotation with other chaplains and works collaboratively as a liaison between the pastoral care department and other Carle and non‑Carle businesses, organizations, and personnel.
- Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field;
Bachelor’s Degree in Theology;
Master’s Degree in Divinity;
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology;
Master’s Degree in Related Field - Work Experience:

- Provide direct Spiritual Care to patients, staff and families.
- Clarify value issues with patients, families and staff to support ethical practices and decisions.
- Assist in coordination of Spiritual Care for hospital.
