We offer an exciting career opportunity for a Resident Engineer. We are looking for Resident Engineers with experience on transportation projects, preferably with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) projects. Candidates would preferably hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, while a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required, preferably with IDOT projects.
Illinois Tollway (ISTHA) or Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) project experience will also be considered. IDOT Documentation of Quantities Certification will be preferred. Candidates must have assumed responsibility either as a Project Manager (PM), Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) on previous projects.
