Position Overview

As a Student Success Advisor at Tricoci University, you will be a key resource for students, guiding them through their educational paths and ensuring they have the support necessary to achieve their goals. Your role will involve fostering relationships, providing academic guidance, and enhancing the overall student experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture supportive relationships with students to promote a positive academic environment.
  • Offer personalized academic and career guidance tailored to each student's goals and challenges.
  • Monitor student attendance and performance, identifying those in need of additional support and intervention.
  • Assist students in navigating campus resources, services, and support systems designed for their success.
  • Collaborate with faculty to help at-risk students and develop intervention strategies.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and workshops to inform students about resources and opportunities.
  • Document student interactions and track their academic progress and outcomes.
  • Organize and participate in student engagement initiatives that foster a sense of community and belonging.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in student advising, counseling, or mentoring, preferably in an educational or beauty-related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students.
  • Ability to understand and address the academic challenges faced by students.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with faculty and staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle various responsibilities.
  • Genuine passion for supporting student success and a commitment to the beauty industry.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
