The School of Information Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses supporting the MS in Library and Information Science, the MS in Information Management, and the BS in Information Science. We are particularly interested in instructors who can teach on campus.

Minimum Qualifications
  • MS/MA or PhD in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Computer Science, Design, or related fields.
  • Teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic training and/or work experience in needed curricular areas.
  • Relevant service in professional organizations (where applicable).
Salary and Appointment Information

Candidates may be offered an affiliate, non‑service appointment initially. Salary and service will be commensurate with course load. The expected start date for Spring 2026 is January 16, 2026, and for Fall 2026 is August 16, 2026.

The budgeted salary for these positions is $7,000 for each 4‑credit hour semester long course.
