Cunningham Children’s Home is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager Assistant to support our Caminos program
, which serves unaccompanied children who have recently migrated to the United States. The program provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment as youth work toward family reunification and pursue their immigration and educational goals.
The Case Manager Assistant plays a key role in assisting Case Managers by supporting documentation efforts, coordinating services, and helping ensure the safe and timely release of youth from the program. This position requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a compassionate, trauma-informed approach.
Some travel is required
, and flexibility with scheduling is essential based on the needs of the program.
Extensive training will be provided.
Relocation assistance is available.
- Assist Case Managers in the delivery and documentation of family unification efforts
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of case records and documentation
- Support timely communication with sponsors, legal representatives, and community partners
- Transport clients as needed to appointments and other required locations
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all licensing and regulatory standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience in the human services field
- Valid Illinois driver’s license (no suspensions in the past 3 years) and proof of auto insurance
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check and physical
- Must have access to a reliable, road‑worthy, and properly insured vehicle

High School or better.
Experience- 1 year working with youth in a therapeutic setting
- Auto Insurance
