Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr.
Responsibilities- Open and close the store, including all system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stockroom are ready for business.
- Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, and resolving inquiries or issues.
- Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when store management is absent.
- Hold store keys and assist and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
- Register all related sales on the assigned cash register, record scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
- Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, and evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts, ensuring on‑hand quantities are correct for basic departments সেট stockroom and overstock locations.
- Follow the Outdate program with team members.
- Set basic department pricing, make daily price changes, and ensure proper signage to support accurate pricing of products and meet local regulatory requirements.
- Perform bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, counts, ledgers, and bill payments as requested.
- Maintain clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, and request repairs in manager absence.
- Separate food items, ensure proper placement and stock rotation using the first‑in, first‑out method.
- Use store systems and equipment effectively.
- Assist at pharmacy window as requested.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco).
- Conduct bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
- Comply with company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Knowledge of store inventory control.
- Consideration of applicants with arrest and conviction records.
- Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
