About the Role

This Position is located in the Store Leadership team, responsible for a specific area of the store and supervising the overall store operations when serving as Manager on Duty.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors at all times
- Maintain awareness on the sales floor and correct or report unsafe conditions
- Secure the building, including entrance/exit control, EAS device checks, cash office security, and armored carrier pick‑ups
- Remove clutter and ensure clear egress to emergency exits
- Handle customer safety, accident prevention, and emergency procedures
- Test all fire alarm systems as scheduled and respond to after‑hours alarms when requested
- Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect and courtesy
- Demonstrate friendliness, professionalism, and recognize associates through company programs
- Represents and supports the company brand at all times
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure associates adhere to the dress code
- Keep all store areas clean, well‑maintained, and merchandised to standard
- Responsible for daily trash removal
- Execute recovery, sizing, and markdowns to company standards
- Handle receiving of merchandise truck and non‑merchandise inbound deliveries
- Process all merchandise with a sense of urgency and maintain stockroom cleanliness
- Assist with placement of merchandise on the sales floor and secure back‑stock
- Perform floor moves and promotional signing as needed
- Help reduce loss due to damage and ensure compliance with monthly presentation guidelines
- Participate in the Loss Prevention Awareness Program and maintain a strong presence on the sales floor
- Protect confidential, cash, and merchandise information
- Maintain the Public View Monitor system and conduct package inspections
- Apply company best practices to maximize productivity and minimize loss
- Ensure associates follow company front‑end standards and maintain pace and energy
- Train and coach associates on cash registers, shortage control, and other procedures
- Control break schedules and ensure all equipment functions correctly
- Maintain supplies and recovery for the front end and accelerate go‑backs
- Educate associates on the “Scan and Bag” best practice and ensure salability of merchandise
- Maintain and clean fitting rooms and audit garment tags as required
- Ensure go‑back compliance and proper tagging of returned merchandise
- Conduct cash pulls and bank deposits per company policy
- Oversee front‑end control, refund approvals, and cash handling
- Administer payroll, scheduling compliance, and processing of payroll reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager

- Fluency in English
- Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Use store equipment including PDTs, registers, and PCs as required
- Stand, walk, and move throughout the store up to 100 % of the time
- Regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs
- Use janitorial and other assigned equipment, ladders, and rolling racks
- Stockroom shifts may require pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 20 lbs
