Food Service Worker

Overview

Employee performs essential job functions of the Nutrition Services department, including ambassador service procedures and dish room activities to provide all aspects of food service for patients. Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils while meeting all sanitation standards. Dispose of trash and refuse, and sanitize containers as assigned. Serve a variety of food items to patients, employees and guests. Maintain sanitation of the work area, and perform other related duties as required.

• Maintain sanitation of work area, and perform other related duties as required.

• Education An individual who can read, write, and understand sufficient English to perform the requirements of the position.
• Experience Quantity or institutional food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Skills Employee must demonstrate age specific competency regarding food preparation and service.
• License/Certifications San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire/ transfer.
• Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements.

$21.00 - $29.12

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
