PICC Nurse

Overview

Provides the provision of appropriate nursing support and implementation of evidence-based measures that ensure the well‑being of patients receiving care and treatment in the imaging setting, which includes adequate and safe monitoring of patients before, during, and after interventional procedures.

• Experience : PICC certification or PICC competency preferred. Prefer someone who has six months experience in critical care or the emergency room (within the past three years). Radiology nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Skills :
  Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Able to work and multitask in a fast‑pace environment; effectively managing, prioritizing and delegating patient care and completing work assignments and other duties, as assigned. Has a general knowledge of all areas of nursing practice to include understanding of sedation. Demonstrates knowledge of common disease process, treatment modalities and interventions.
• License / Certifications :
  Current active California Registered Nurse License, current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS
• Equipment :
  Computers, monitors, printer, fax, photocopier, pneumatic tube system, Omnicell, telephone, IV pumps, and Sherlock 3 CG system.
• Physical Requirements :
  Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

$47.90 - $71.84

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
