Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business and drive office growth. You will be the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office-related growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season and transition to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed.

This role is in-person (not remote).

• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
• Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets
• Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement
• Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
• Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns
• Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates
• Lead work scheduling and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management
• Travel between offices as required
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment*

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
• Ability to execute growth plans and lead a growth-oriented culture
• Strong decision-making, judgment, and performance under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)*

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply.
