Position: Limited Radiological Technician/ Medical Assistant
Overview

JOB SUMMARY

A medical assistant functions under the supervision of a licensed physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or RN. The role involves coordinating all aspects of patient care in the Urgent Care setting. A limited Radiological Technician performs radiologic examinations on patients of all ages and provides finished exams to Radiologists for interpretation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Refer to License and Certification requirements.
  • Experience: Urgent care experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Vitals, triage categories, medication administration, splinting, competency in lab and radiology orders, knowledge of medication rotation and record keeping, and the ability to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must hold and maintain current certifications from ARRT and CRT for a limited practice technician permit, including required continuing education credits. Current BLS card from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Equipment: EKG machine, blood pressure monitor, otoscope, oxygen tank, stethoscope, nebulizer, glucose meter, thermometer, pulse oximeter, Omnicell medication dispensing cabinet, computer, copy machine, fax machine, scanner, RIS, HIS, PACS, and stationary radiographic equipment.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical duties of the role.
    • Pay Range

    $22.00 - $33.42

    The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay available at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are based on the candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate based on market data is used, not individual experience.
