Staff Nurse RN - SICU

Overview

The role encompasses the management of critical care patient care through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.

• Education See License and Certifications.
• Experience One year previous Telemetry experience required. Previous clinical experience in ICU/CCU preferred. Critical Care course/update either prior to hire/transfer or within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Knowledge and Skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment; manage/prioritize/delegate patient care, and complete work assignments and other duties as assigned. Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
• License and Certifications Current nursing license, state of California, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS, Basic EKG course or passing of 80% or greater on exam to be completed within orientation period and completion of a 12 Lead EKG class either prior to hire/transfer or within 12 months of hire.

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
