This position provides direct, high-level administrative support to the UAB Chief Financial Officer and the executive leadership team within the CFO Office. The role requires a seasoned administrative professional with exceptional organizational and communication skills, sound judgment, and a consistently polished and professional demeanor. The incumbent will routinely handle highly sensitive and confidential information and is expected to exercise discretion, maintain strict confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
The successful candidate must be capable of independently managing complex priorities, anticipating executive needs, and making informed decisions within established guidelines in a fast-paced executive environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform confidential and complex administrative support services for executive-level staff in the CFO office.
- Manage calendars for multiple executives.
- Performs routine and special assignments such as coordinating routine and annual meetings.
- May train and provide feedback on performance for junior-level administrative staff in the CFO office.
- May coordinate and book travel, process fees, purchase supplies, and perform other tasks that involve the use of simple spreadsheets.
- Expected to manage annual processes, such as staff renewal for state vehicle operations and renewing of annual parking passes for state vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
$47,665 – $77,455
Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
