Position Overview
The Material Research Institute (MRI) is seeking applicants for a part‑time Nanofabrication Position.
Responsibilities- Develop piezoelectric accelerometers using both lead zirconate titanate thin films and piezoelectric single crystals.
- Perform micro fabrication of piezoelectric devices and systems for multimodal sensors.
Micro fabrication of piezoelectric devices and systems, and their use in multimodal sensors.
ExperienceExperience in piezoelectric materials and devices or microelectromechanical systems fabrication.
Minimum Qualifications- At least a B.S. degree in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Self‑motivated individuals with significant cleanroom experience.
The starting rate for this job is $36.00 an hour.
