Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Department of Biology - Sjogren Lab

Job Description

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is looking to hire Teaching Assistants (TA) to provide support to Biology courses overseen by the Teaching Faculty during the 2026-27 academic year. This position will be supervised by Carly Sjogren.

• Assist faculty in organizing coursework.
• Explain biology concepts to students.
• Hold office hours and/or review sessions.

• Full‑time registered Penn State student.
• Successfully completed the course for which the TA will assist.
