A leading educational institution in Texas seeks undergraduate researchers to assist in their NSF-funded study on insect evolution. Responsibilities include the description and analysis of insect chemo receptor genes, alongside opportunities to engage with molecular techniques and field collection. Candidates with coursework in genetics or genomics are preferred. Pay starts at $16/hour, with flexible hours expected to be around 10 hours/week during the semester and up to 40 hours/week in the summer.
