Overview
Privacy and Security Teaching Faculty Positions at the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at The Pennsylvania State University invite applications for multiple open-rank, teaching faculty positions in security analytics, cyber operations, and risk analysis beginning in January or July 2025 at the University Park campus. These are non-tenure-line term appointments with an excellent possibility of renewal as multiyear appointments.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in security analytics, cyber operations, and risk analysis in residential, online, and/or hybrid formats.
- Demonstrate excellence in university-level teaching and collaborate with IST faculty on curricular innovation and development efforts.
- Provide university service as a teaching faculty member.
- Master’s degree or PhD in information sciences and technology, security, cybersecurity, or a related discipline by the start date with Penn State.
- Commitment to teaching learners at all levels and from all backgrounds.
- Candidates will be considered for a teaching faculty rank commensurate with their education and experience in accordance with Penn State policy AC21.
