Assistant Teaching Professor, Department of Sociology and Criminology
The Department of Sociology and Criminology at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor to start Fall 2025.
This position will involve teaching courses in Criminology at the undergraduate level. Onsite teaching is an essential function of this job.
A Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a closely related field is required by the appointment date. Candidates with a J.D. by time of appointment will also be considered.
In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.

This is a non-tenure-track, term appointment with possibility of renewal.
