What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Process part-time human resource actions, including hiring and separations
  • Assist with the processing and review of routine payroll reports
  • Schedule and maintain appointments and meetings with hiring managers and employees
  • Compile and organize materials to draft emails, prepare documents, and create reports
  • Perform data entry and maintain databases for part-time personnel
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Basic knowledge of the Workday system is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role within a higher education or campus recreation setting
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and human resource actions
